Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Settings

For Search Engine Optimization, you have the option to swap your store name with the product and category names in the title bar of the browser. The title bar is the top solid bar of the browser which, by default, displays the title of your store.

By placing the product name before the store name, you can get better placement, since the higher up keywords and other textual elements are, the better chance the site has at getting decent rankings.

To change settings for this feature.

1.

In the admin.mv, click the next to Stores.

2.

Click on Your Store's Link.

3.

In the right-hand menu, click the SEO Settings link.

4.

Make any changes, then click Update.

If you check off both boxes, then when the customer enters a product page, the title bar will read as follows:

Product Name: Store Name

The same goes for Categories.
