<Select One> Settings

This feature allows you to set a specific text for the attributes, shipping and payment pull-down menus. By using this feature, you prevent customers from mistakenly using the first option on the list, forcing them to make a selection.

To access this feature.

In the admin.mv, click the

next to Stores.

Click Your Store's Link.

In the right-hand menu, click the <Select One> Settings link.

To change the text that will appear remove the text Select One and replace with text of your choice. Be sure to leave all other code in place.

For example, if you want the menu's first option to read: Choose One… then the content in the field here would be:

<Choose One…>

NOTE: The code used in the <Select One> settings is not a token, and thus should not carry a preceding string. It should be coded exactly as shown.
