OpenObjects v1.x API Library

*** This Library and these OpenObjects should only be installed/used when you are having to use 3rd party modules in your store the are written to the old OpenUI v1.x Hook Point API. These objects are slower, more complex, and harder to edit/modify. If required, please contact your module vendor to check for an updated module written to the OpenUI v2.x Object API, if available.


Installing the OpenObjects™ v1.x API library module

1.    Run the admin.mv
2.    Open the Modules branch
3.    Click on the Add Module

4.    Click the Upload graphic button
5.    Enter the filename of the module (objects1x.mv or objects1x.mvc) on your local drive
6.    Press the Upload button
7.    Press the Add button


Assigning the OpenObjects™ v1.x API library module to your store

1.    Run the admin.mv
2.    Open the Stores branch
3.    Open the branch of the Storename that you want to assign it to
4.    Click on the Utilities

5.    Check the checkbox next to the OpenObjects™ v1.x API library module
6.    Press the Update button


First Time Resetting the OpenObjects™ v1.x Sets and Objects

1.   Run the admin.mv
2.   Open the Stores branch
3.   Open the branch of the Storename that you want to assign it to
4.   Click on the Utilities

5.   Click on the OpenObjects™ v1.x API library tab
6.   Check the "Reset Object Sets" checkbox
7.   Select "Reset All Objects" from the dropdown
8.   Press the Update button
