You've made a good choice in an alternative user interface for Miva Merchant. With the OpenUI™ you can now implement more customizations and functionality to your Miva Merchant store.
While any store customizations you may want can and have been performed while using the Miva Merchant Look & Feel (the MMUI), the OpenUI™ allows you to plug in third-party modules without having to perform any special coding functions. With this alone, the OpenUI™ has become the preference for thousands of users and many developers. In fact, most modules being produced today support the OpenUI™, and a good handful of design modules will only work with this user interface.
The latest versions of the OpenUI™ plug new features into Miva Merchant itself. Additional features are not designed to replace third-party modules. Instead, they provide additional yet standard functionality that many believe should already be inclusive with Miva Merchant itself.
